University of Puget Sound Garden

UPS Garden
N. 17th St. & Alder (next to house #1706)

UPS students, alumni and faculty maintain
this wonderful garden of edibles.
The gardens is part of the campus’ effort to
promote sustainability by “planting the seed”
in each students’ mind to think about the origin of their food.

Two classes on campus utilize the garden through their curriculum: Stuart Smither’s and “The Good Life” as well as Emelie Penie’s “Food and Hunger.”

Please contact upspermaculture@gmail.com for questions about gardening here.
