La Grande’s gardeners reflect the diversity of our Hilltop neighborhood. Our gardeners are from around the world and from 6 to 85 years old. La Grande takes on an exotic look in summer when our South Vietnamese gardeners create hand woven trellis to support giant winter squash. Features at La Grande include an outdoor produce prep kitchen, rainwater diversion/irrigation system and fabulous potlucks.
