Whitney

Whitney Rhodes grew up oblivious to Tacoma, but with a strong recognition of food. Years of Mom forcing organic and natural foods on her have now come full circle, with Whitney being committed to local and/or organic foods. Whitney worked with community garden efforts around town before moving into work at Exit133. Whitney has an affinity for historical buildings, fresh tomatoes and playing in the dirt. This will be her first year attempting to grow and preserve her own food. Expect stories, mistakes and laughter.

Whitney graduated from the University of Washington Tacoma with a BA in Political Economy and Urban Studies with Global Honors.
