The Emergency Food Network has been working since 1982 “to provide a reliable food supply so that no person in Pierce County goes hungry.” Each month in Pierce County, more than 140,000 people seek emergency food assistance. They provide food and other essentials at no cost to over 65 food banks, hot meal sites and shelters for distribution to low-income families and individuals. Learn more!

Support the Pierce County Gleaning Project!

A new program called the Pierce County Gleaning Project has started in Pierce County to increase the availability of fresh local healthy produce to low income families as well as build community. It is a partnership between the Emergency Food Network distributing food to 65 food banks and meal sites in Pierce County, and St. Leo’s Food Connection, the largest food bank in the county.
